T-Mobil Rep. vs Sprint Service

Got a chuckle from T-Mobile Rep recently.
He said that T-Mobile is able to "do" roaming because their
phones also "tuned" to other's analog and GSM, such as ATT
and Gingular.
Whereas, "Sprint can't do roaming" because Sprint has their
own system that is exclusively CDMA.

I didn't tell him that yes Sprint itself is exclusively
CDMA, but dual-band phones "tuned" for Sprint PCS service
are also "tuned" for analog roaming, and the SPCS
dual-band/tri-mode phones can also do roaming both analog
and digital.

that can't go roaming.

No just a typical salesperson, saying whatever it takes to make a sale.
Which is part of Sprint's problem. It puts sales objectives on its CSRs.

T-Mobile Doesn't roam on Cingulair. The two companies agreed to share
their towers so that t-mobile could start on the westcoast and that
cingulair could start on the east coast.

Re: T-Mobil Rep. vs Sprint Service

well they are roaming, the T-Mobile customer just dont pay for it.
T-Mobile claims no Roaming charges (everyone always assumes ROAMING is
analog only) ROAMING is using towers other than your provider's
