They pulled out but the T608 was already in works and will be their last
phone produced for American CDMA market.

Let me jump in here to spread some truth, both sales reps and CUSTOMER
SERVICE REPS BOTH have quotas. Sales reps have new activations and LD
attachement, CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS have LD attachment and accessory
dollar attachement. If the rep fails to meet these norms as established
in the Comission acceptance form they are subject to "corrective action"
(that is to say, one step closer to being fired with cause).

Technically true, it is the District director who directs the Store
manager to write that person up ( after going throught HR)

BULL****, CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS have an at risk.

You should ask what a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS really gets compensated. Be
thankful you don't have a CAF yet.

But then again you may have to wonder if you will have a job at Sprint.
I hear all warranty work is being moved to over the phone (but if the
    phone doesn't work...they can't complain...and our numbers look
better...and we can lay off CC reps)

I AM a sales rep. I have NO quota. Do I get paid based on my number of
sales, YES! I get a small bonus for every phone I sell. Some Reps in
other parts of the country might, but NOT here.

You are not a Sprint Employee.

So you are a swatter, do you work for a temp agency?

What market do you work in? (where do you live)

Your boss is corporate and a guarantee they have quota.

Actually talk to the people in the Sprint Store and see what they have
    to say.

I work for a temp agency, although my father is a VP at sprint and is my

them are in the store, why would you ever go there in the first place

Which "VP" is he (god, there are so many I lost count)?

And if you say the retail sales reps (RSR) in the coporate stores
don't have quotas, then he better have a chat with some of the retail
    (direct) sales personelle.

The RSRs have a quota on the number of phones they have to sell. They
have a low base salary, and the rest is comission (AKA risk). I don't
know what the exact number is, but if they don't make 60% (or 70%?) of
their quota, they do not get their comission check, trust me I know a
couple of RSRs who did not get comission checks.

The customer service reps do not have quotas at all, other than
    suggested numbers from their managers.

The technical service reps have no quotas at all, nor do they have
suggested numbers (and if they do, they are not enforced at all).

I hope he doesn't break his arm patting himself on the back.

This may explain the disinformation at the stores. Your salesperson may

Good question, why would anyone want to go there or buy Sprint? Why
would Sprint open an expensive ($10-15,000 minimum a month, excluding
empolyees) storefront for Customer Service. They do occassionally make
    money, that's why.

    >>Third party retailer usually have better deals.

So why doesn't Sprint go exclusively through 3rd party dealers? It cost
them more money. You know nothing about the cellular business do you.

    -Disservice-
It takes months for Sprint to find a new customer, and seconds to lose
that customer forever. At the rate Sprint is going they should be out
of customers in no time. (Just like AOL)

They do not make their numbers they will be written up then terminated.
