A500 ringer

I've been pretty darned happy with my A500, but I have noticed
that it doesn't stop ringing immediately when you open it.

Today I put it to my ear too quickly, and just got blasted with
the loud ringer.

Does anyone else notice this, or did I just get the one with the
slow chip?

It's a known issue that affects all of them. There haven't been any
software updates to adress it.

i've not had this problem with my a500. but i think i've just never
noticed this b/c (and you may want to try this) as i check the caller
i.d. i hit the volume adjust button to silence the ringer. then if i
answer, then it's not still ringing.

I don't see how this would be Sprint's fault. It would be up to Samsung
to address the problem.

How do you like this phrase:
