No, you can't use your t-mobile phone on SPCS's system. When WLNP comes
on line on 11-24, you would be able to move the t-mobile phone number to
your SPCS account. In saying that though, I probably wouldn't even try
contacting any of the wireless providers for at least a week after
11-24, as the hold times will be extremely long.

Most businesses arrange for extra help covering phones if they expect more
calls. Why are you so negative against SprintPCS?

Re: what about WNP and add a phones?
Sorry... I didn't mean to be confusing in my post. I did not mean to say I
wanted to use my PHONE on Sprint..... but to take the phone number from TMO
and use it on an add a phone.
Does anyone know can I replace an existing phone number on Sprint with a
number I carry over from TMO?

Yes, you will be able to, as I said below, once WLNP was initiated on
11-24.

Re: what about WNP and add a phones?
Thanks Bob for the help.. I'm aware of WLNP... but how do you know that
Sprint or any other carrier will change phone numbers on an existing phone
from a # that came from another carrier? I'm not talking about a new line
of service but replacing an existing Sprint number with a TMO number. WLNP
is not going to force Sprint to do anything we want with a # is it?

I'm 80% sure you cannot. It must become its own subscription. Thus, for=
=20
example, if your account could have two subscriptions, and you've already g=
ot=20
two in effect, then you'd need to cancel one in order to move one over from=
T-
Mo into your SPCS account. At least, as things stand now.
Again, I'm about 80% sure of that.

Ok, that's a bit clearer now. As Rob had followed up, I (as a customer)
don't really know, considering that it would be up to SPCS policy rules
whether they would do that for you.
Rob may be right that you might have to create a new account with SPCS
or cancel your current add a phone, and then add it back on again with a
request to transfer the T-Mobile telephone number to the ESN of the
add-a-phone.
Considering that there is over a month to go before WLNP comes on line,
you might want to email SPCS -
http://www2.sprintpcs.com/learn/form...c_question.asp outlining, in
as clear as terms as you can, what you want to do and if it's possible.
You might also want to send snail mail out to the corporate headquarters
in KS as well.
