.......will drop dead or go to another carrier
where he is happier. I would prefer the former, but the latter will do.

This Sprint apologist has reached a new low.

However we will see SprintPCS die many many years before any critic of them
does. At the rate it's going SprintPCS will no longer exist before 2005 rolls
    around.

Until I get an apology from our crazy friend in the Linux Club in Minneapolis,
    you haven't seen anything yet.

I'm just reporting what gets posted in the Wall Street columns. A recent one,
said SprintPCS likely couldnt get bought out to make it survive because:

Meanwhile, Sprint presents another set of challenges, including its
complicated equity structure and smaller presence in the corporate market,
analysts said. Sprint's wireless arm, Sprint PCS, also would overlap in many
markets with the wireless networks of Verizon and SBC.
"Sprint doesn't buy people a whole lot as far as enterprise goes. And what
they have -- local, long-distance and wireless -- the Baby Bells already have.
They'd be spending money on assets that would ultimately have to be picked
apart and sold to pass regulatory review," said one industry source, who
    declined to be named.

Exactly, his nonresponsive answer is similar to what Sprint employees post.

You just cut and pasted a conversation from one thread into another. Why?

You're entire sense of being reminds me of John Lovitz's SNL character...
"Yeah,.... That's my wife,... Morgan Fairchild." You're there but for one
    reason. To confuse people.

Yet he maintains the service for himself. Sort of an autoerotic fixation he
    has.

I got over $750 worth of credits and discounts for my next years $720 service
fees; why wouldn't I stay with SprintPCS.

If they're stupid enough to give me that kind of retention deal, I'm smart
    enough to take it.

Sprint gives you something and they're stupid for doing it?

    You're pathetic.

Sprint could give him lifetime service for free and he'd still find something
    to whine about.

    > You're pathetic.

    Yes, he is.

Besides, with his track record of honesty, how can we believe he has such a
deal anyway? Not like it matters even if he does have such a deal.

$720 worth of discounts over one year is $60/month.
$720 worth of discounts over two years is $30/month.

Either way, I don't think it's likely he is telling the truth. What time
period did he say the discounts were for?

I admit that I am also stupid because after getting a great retention
deal, I still hope that they file bankruptcy and go out of business. I
am biting the hand that feeds me for no real reason other than I am an
    idiot.
