Asurion Insurance

I just filed my second claim in a year--$50 for a new phone. Just got the
letter saying that the fine print only allows two new phones and then you
are dropped. Let's see at $4.99 a month, $59.88 a year and then $50 for the
news phone nice little profit. The customer service person told me that
they replace 5000 phones a day world wide.

Re: Asurion Insurance

5000? That's a lot! Surprising, but not really shocking. Still, Would ou
rather buy a new LG VX-6000 for $359.99, or $50+ your monthly premium?
Twice in a year? Ouch...

Re: Asurion Insurance

know if they get phones at cost you can lower the 150.00 by about 50
percent of that, whole sale is about 50 % of retail and cost is about 25%
or more off wholesale, i have been in retail for about 20 years and see
prices companys pay for products, one of which is swiss watches which
might have retail of 1,750.00,wholesale of 850.00 and cost of around
450.00 to dealers.so you figure out how much companys are making, and
then if they lay off some people their profits go up even more.
