Dial direct to voicemail?

Since most, if not all of the voicemail backdoor numbers have been ruled out, is
there a way to go directly to a person's voice mail without actually having to
call them?

Send them a text message and tell them to turn their phone off for a
little while?

Hah.. But they don't have messaging enabled on their phone, so that wouldn't
work :P. And I'll rule out calling them and asking them to turn it off, too, heh.

call your voicemail then press two to send a voicemail to them

Dial into your VZW voicemail, and use the "send a message" feature...
