PRL not being updated

My VX6000's PRL is not being updated for some odd reason.

On my previous VX6000 I had the 50085 PRL but this phone (the third vx6000 I
have owned) is on PRL 42014.

I have already tried *228 option #1 & #2.

Any clue to what is going on?

What plan do you have?

So does the plan type affect whether PRL updating works or not?

The plan doesn't affect whether the updating works or not, but it
affects what PRL you get. With the AC plan you should be getting 50096.
If you still don't get the newest one, you will need to call customer
service. (*611)

you have programmed?

It depends on the phone you have. For example on the VX4400 you do Menu
- 9 - 2 (software version) which shows the PRL version, plus versions
of other software on the phone.
