Unsubsidized LG VX4400 price

I'm considering replacing our trusty ST7868 with a 1xRTT phone so we can
use Express Network. I don't want to touch my NSR plan with weekend
minutes, so I'm looking to buy a non-subsidized phone. Anyone know what
the current full price is on th VX4400?

Of course that depends on supply and demand. Right now it looks like they
are going for $100 to $200 for brand new unused.

I'm showing that Verizon is selling at $299.99 with no contract. You might
want to take a look at Circuit City too, they might be a little cheaper.

I updated my ST7868 to a 1xRTT-capable T720 at the NewEvery2+Subsidized price,
and kept my NSR+weekend plan. Getting a subsidized phone does not require
a change in the rate plan. It just puts you back into contract for the
one or two years.

Required caveat: Info applicable to SF Bay Area, CA.

Like you said, that is definately market dependant. When I got a new phone
if I would have kept my NSR plan I was going to lose my weekend minutes
promotion. So I had to go with the AC plan. So you definately want to ask
before you do anything like that.

I bought mine unsubsidized about 2 months ago from Verizon for $279. I
looked on Ebay for a couple of weeks before that and new ones were going for
about $240-250 and used for about $150-175. I decided to pay a little extra
to have the 15 day return period and not have to worry about getting burned
for the first time on Ebay for a large purchase. HTH.

i went to my store and it is 279. i did buy one off of ebay and it was
slated as new and it didnt work. but the buyer took it back. instead of new
every two, which i wasnt eligable to december they gave me the phone for
129. then i seen a rebate and got another 50 credit i am waiting on. in any
case if i did buy it from verizon retail it would of been 279.00. getting
one from verizon is better in my opinion that way if you every have a
problem they will back you up on it as they wouldnt help me at all with the
one off of ebay. Secondly you get a years manufacturer warranty. where as on
ebay or anywhere else as soon as you sell a phone and your not the primary
owner if you read the fine print your warranty goes outt the door.

I paid $308.04 with no contract in Colonie Verizon Store. $279.99 plus
8% tax I believe.
