Cincinnati & EN

Hi Gang,

I'm in Cincinnati and have a strong digital signal, yet when I sign on with EN
it stalls out in a minute or so and I'm dead in the water.

It still shows the minute time going, so I'm not offline....but there is no
receiving or sending of signals happening.

Anyone have a clue why?

Re: Cincinnati & EN

This has been a problem here in the Richmond, VA area since Express
Network launched but VZW insists nothing's wrong.

That's not very encouraging. I spent 45 mins on the phone with Verizon last
night and he was mystified.

Glad I'm not paying 79.00 a month for EN.

It's while my mail and newsgroups are downloading into my computer.

As I only have a minute I have to close QuickLink at least once, maybe twice to
get all the mail and newsgroup posts.

I'm doing the same thing I've always done, this one minute thing just started
since I got to Cincinnati.

Is this after you sit idle for about a minute? or is this after a minute
regardless of surfing the net or doing something that causes network
activity?

well, I never used it there, I used it at Fountain Square (dont go to far
north of there unless you want to get shot or worse) and it worked fine,
perhaps something in that area is messed up..

Re: Cincinnati & EN

Yeah, well, I *was* paying $79/month for EN. Keyword... "was." I am now
cheating the system with my Aircard 555 on Family SharePlan using my night
& weekend minutes with Express Network MOU.
