Re: How to Find SID using Kyocera 3035

I went into the Kyocera Debug section

This is the readout of my screen

In idle mode : PN448 2 Rx -83 X A Tx -63

In transmit mode: PN448 4 Rx -83 X A Tx -22

The PN number varies The Rx and Tx are ofcourse the dbm but where is the SID
here.

There is no other option where it gives out SID. Or maybe I am looking in
the wrong place.

It will only show the SID when in a analog area or when it first changes to
analog.

Re: How to Find SID using Kyocera 3035

I got the answer to the Kyocera 3035 thing.

Steps followed to get into Debug mode.

1.. Press 111-111 (6 times) and in the screen there will appear Option.
Press the Menu button inwards.
2.. Select "Debug" using arrow keys and press Menu button inwards. You
will be asked a 6 digit code. That code in new phones is 000-000 (6 times
again!). A menu will open with header "Field Debug".
3.. Choose "Debug Screen" and press Menu keys inwards. A menu will open.
Listen options are "Off" and "Basic". Choose "Basic" and press Menu keys
inwards.
4.. The Debug screen will appear. You will have options "Hide" and "Close"
..
5.. Assuming you are in Digital Mode you need to change into Analog mode
to see the SID.

In digital the readout is:

PN448 2 Rx -72 A X Tx -63

Steps followed to get into Analog mode:

1.. Now that you have gone into "Debug Screen" Press the "hang up" key or
"end" key. You will be in the regular screen now displaying "Verizon
Wireless" or your Banner.
2.. Press Menu key inwards. In the menu that comes up select "Settings".
3.. In the "Settings" menu select "Network". Here the first option is
"Digital or Analog". Get into this by pressing the Menu key inwards again.
4.. Here select "Analog only" and press Menu key again.
5.. Now press the hang up key or end key.
6.. Dial 611 or any number. Your SID will be displayed.

Here is what came in my readout

CH0343P3 ?

SID00022 ??

The question marks appear on the screen as typed.

After you are done please go into "Digital or Analog" section and choose
"Automatic" or "Digital only" (I have that selected).

I am in the NYC metro market. The SID will show that.

Great if the system you are on is both analog and digital. Here in WI the
Verizon system and Sprint system is digital only.
