It is still up in the air what I am going to do. I was finally able to get
ahold of a Supervisor that not only listened to what was going on, but got
back to me in a reasonable amount of time and gave me real answers, not the
generic "I don't know, this is new". Since the store originally told me that
the numbers could be ported, he is going to check with some other people to
see if anything can be done. I already brought up the financial aspect of
staying with VZW (I would have to keep old accounts open while new numbers
are distributed). He said we can talk about that and he has the authority to
do something, but he did not want to get into specifics until all other
options were exhausted.
The store told me earlier in the day they would credit my account until this
was resolved, I don't think he was expecting a 6 month resolution though. I
highly doubt they would be willing to give me 6 months of free service. It
would be nice, but unlikely.
