#1 | | Guest | Has anyone successfully gotten a Motorola v60s phone on Verizon
Wireless to connect a PC/laptop to the Internet on their high-speed/1x
network?
If so, can you say what settings you used and what kind of cable?
Thanks,

work. Quicklink, from the Data kit did work.

cable for your phone model. Download the drivers off their website.
Then go on to Howardforums.com and follow the thread for enhanced
messaging/national access. The process for connecting is descibed in detail
and works fine.

Or get the Motorola NNTN4007A from any Nextel dealer if you want to be
able to charge the phone while it's tethered. (Drivers from www.susteen.com/drivers.htm work well too.)

Hmmm, do cables usually not charge the phone? I've got a V120e and
wondering if thetre's one that charges it while being used.

The Radio Shack cables don't. Some Motorola cables do, some don't.
If the 120 has the same connector as the V60 series, you can use the
Nextel cable. If not, there's probably some Nextel cable that has the
same connector as the 120.

phone -- reasonably priced, too.

While those (and any others I've heard of) are cables that let you charge
when connected to a pc, there are none that allow you to charge while you
are using the phone online.
Of course, there's probably a Murphy's law corollary that applies to this,
Seems like the need to recharge is inversely proportional to your need to

#14 | | Guest | That's one of the ones that specifically misrepresent things, yes you can do
'data transfer' and charge at the same time, but they define data transfer
as pc to phone, NOT while you are using it as a modem and online.

#15 | | Guest | I'm using my eforcity cable as we "speak" connected to a PC as a modem. It
is also charging -- no misrepresentation here!
