v60s Battery Life

I've read several messages on various web sites about v60s battery life.
Some folks seem to feel that it's as good as previous v60 phones, and
some seem to feel that it's still pretty bad.

I've had my v60s for a couple of days and it's been through 2 charges,
both done after I had used the phone until the battery ran out and the
phone shut off. However, the life still isn't as good as the LG VX10
that I switched from. I know that sometimes the batteries take a few
charges to come up to full capacity, so maybe it will improve, but I
wanted to solict opinions on the battery life once again.

Thanks,
JKG

Re: v60s Battery Life

The "original" battery that is included with the V60s when purchased from
Verizon just doesn't cut it. That battery is advertised as being 700 mah,
but I think it is really only 500 mah. To get any real battery life for
people who actually will use the phone, get the 1100 mah battery (I think it
is SNN5706A) and the associated battery cover. This of course makes the
phone a little fatter, but it is worth the trade off.

Re: v60s Battery Life

I have had the phone since before xmas. I have yet to run the battery down
after using it all day, and then some. It is far superior in battery life to
the lg4400 which is what I traded for it.

Could you be more specific about the battery like, how much you use
the phone, and charging patterns; possibly, as you mentioned, you may
want to give it a day or two for the battery to mature.

Maybe an hour's worth of calls per day, all in 1x area. Once I run the
battery through a few charge cycles I'm hoping that it gets a little
better.

Re: v60s Battery Life

I put a hydrogen fuel cell on my phone. Now I can power my car by plugging
my phone into the cigarette lighter.
