VX 6000 battery life questions

I have a 2 month old VX6000.

My battery life is about 1.5 days. I do about 20 minutes of talking per
day... it is all digital.

This seems pretty low for the battery- Now there are times that I am
indoors in areas that have no signal. Does this cause more battery life to
be used? I heard that when not on digital, more battery life is used, but
the VX6000 can't do analog, so it shouldn't make a difference, right?

Do people charge every night? Is there a "memory" issue with the battery?

My vx6000 battery (the larger one) lasts about 2 weeks. Light usage
but on a par with what you described.

I believe searching for service uses a lot of power. Try turning your
phone off when you're going to be out of range for a while... that will
probably help a lot if you spend a lot of time in those areas.

When there's no signal the phone is constantly searching for signal.
This drains the battery pretty quickly.

Some do. Some charge all the time.

No. "Memory" (and it's not really memory) is only an issue with NiCd
batteries - you have a LiIon battery.

I just got the phone on Friday morning and have only charged it that
initial time when I got home. I started using it Friday night and
here it is late Sunday night and I still have more than half charge
and I've been using alot of internet this weekend. I've also been
playing with it non-stop to figure everything out, so its gotten a
pretty good use over the past 2 days.
I havent really strayed from my home calling area though.

Hope this helps. I know on my T68i, it used teh battery alot quicker
if it was searching for a signal.
