Converting MP3 to QCP directly

Does anyone know of a Linux or Windows tool that can convert MP3 files
directly to QCP (PureVoice)? I know I can decompress the MP3 to WAV, then
convert to QCP, but I'd like something that could do it in one step.

Thanks.
Adam

Well, I tried the PureVoice Converter (Win32) from CDMATech.com
(Qualcomm), and I was barely able to hear the sound clip when my phone
rang. I tried using the first 10-15 seconds of Orbital's 'The Box', but I
couldn't make it out at all.

So, perhaps QCP format sucks, at least for music. Where do people get
their MIDI files, or is there some clever tool out there to convert
MP3/WAV to MIDI? Really sucks that the phone can't support WAV ringers (I
forget the fancy name .. polyphonic or some such?)

Thanks.

You may want to contact the guys at busineSMS.com...they have a
Audio/Video SDK that does pretty neat conversions - I'm not sure if
they've tested on CDMA spec phones, but give them a shout.
