The Dr offers some advice he got from CS for a customer in a similar
position- seems that you can "not" add a share plan to an existing "older"
plan. However, you CAN add a new "stand alone" line, and then have CS
change it to a share similar to your existing lines.... really. Of course,
your mileage may vary, but that was the process that I was told by CS, when
presented with a similar position.
Yes. You wanted to know if I was able to get the old share added to the old
family main plan. Yes, I was. Added a "new" anything, waited one day,
called CS (who had already noted the file based on the previous CS) and
"poof", the new line, was "changed" into a share with codes to match the
other shares.
I'd like to take credit for this, but all I did was take the good advice of
CS, do things in the order that they suggested, and ended with a very happy
customer. Your mileage may vary.
