Mark/Rod: Need help putting LG TP5200 onto verizon Re: (was Activate Sprint phone on Verizon)

Oddly quiet on this one: Need help activating

I have the former number of the phone, the security code and the MSL code.

Mark, you said you've done this a zillion times, can you help me.

Isn't this a Vision phone? If it is I haven't seen or heard of anyone moving
a 3G phone from Sprint to Verizon. I have no experience with the LG's at
all. The ones I converted have all been 2G Motorola's and Kyocera's.

Re: Mark/Rod: Need help putting LG TP5200 onto verizon Re: (was Activate Sprint phone on Verizon)

Good/Bad: Good: I replaced the LG with a kyocera 2135 used phone, and made
$50 :-) the bad news is that I was not able to activate the Sprint LG
TP5200. It looked "exactly" like an LG 510, save two buttons near the top.
While I had the unlock codes (MSL) I had no access to change it, nor could I
get the *22801 to go through. Poop. I was surprised that I got little help
from LG, and not surprised that Verizon (fair enough), had no experience
with a Sprint phone. Go Figure.

Hope this helps someone: Kyocera phones and Motorola phones from Sprint to
Verizon: Can do. LG TP5200, nope.
