Popped my week-old T730's cherry (I dropped it)

Sh*t!

At first I thought it popped off the cheesy looking belt clip that came
with it, but it actually fell out of my coat pocket as I sat down in a
chair.

Welp, it didn't shatter into a million pieces...just two...the phone and
the clip attachment...in fact, I don't see a scratch on it...I think it
landed on the clip attachment.

I shake it and don't hear any loose pieces jiggling around in there, so I
guess I got away with one...guess I shouldn't have opted out on the
insurance (screw that!).

All depends on what you need, what you can afford, and
the probability of loss... You are aware that if you go back
to VZW to buy a replacement they will want MSRP which
is probably a lot more than you paid for that one.

I dropped mine once too. No problems. The T730 is sturdier than it looks
