Audiovox 8900

I am thinking of getting a Audiovox 8900. Anybody know if this model is
any good? Can you download ringtones with it?

the speaker is only good in a quiet area. the camera is only good in bright
areas. the menus were very nice. yes you can download ringtones. with a
cable you can get pictures off of it but that is about it. i just switched
it to a friend for a 4500.. if you get it and want the data cable, i have a
slightly used one here for cheap.

I would recommend against it. See my previous posts for Audiovox's
business model, as well as issues with that specific model.

Yes, it is a good phone. Yes, you can download Ringtones (standard fees
apply, depending upon your plan and options).

My thought is that the phone has lots of cool features, but the signal
quality seems to jump around a lot. That is more of a feature of
Verizon where I live than it is of the phone I suspect.
