Did you look at your recent outgoing calls? Once you get your bill,
see if there's a call listed to 911. CID spoofing is quite easy on a
T1 or similar line, but for a person to spoof your # and then call a 7
digit PSAP is a stretch....

Did you look at your recent outgoing calls? Once you get your bill,
see if there's a call listed to 911. CID spoofing is quite easy on a
T1 or similar line, but for a person to spoof your # and then call a 7
digit PSAP is a stretch....

see if there's a call listed to 911. CID spoofing is quite easy on a

Yes actually I did check my outgoing calls on the phone, and there don't
appear to be any to 911. I will check my bill when it arrives and see
if there are any there (I tried to check recent activity online on the
verizonwireless web site, but they have made changes and I can't figure
out how to do it). I just think something is fishy here. I don't know
how it could make a call with the flip closed (this phone doesn't have a
speakerphone, so I am fairly sure that having the flip closed will not
allow a call to be placed).

Yes actually I did check my outgoing calls on the phone, and there don't
appear to be any to 911. I will check my bill when it arrives and see
if there are any there (I tried to check recent activity online on the
verizonwireless web site, but they have made changes and I can't figure
out how to do it). I just think something is fishy here. I don't know
how it could make a call with the flip closed (this phone doesn't have a
speakerphone, so I am fairly sure that having the flip closed will not
allow a call to be placed).
