I know that cell phone service in general is not the same as a fancy audio
system, but I'm about to sign up with Verizon, which means I need to choose
a phone. How many of you have experienced the following: Someone calls you
on their cell phone from a noisy place, maybe the food court at a mall.
Their phone's background noise cancelling design is awful, so it makes the
caller's voice sound like they're talking through a tube of water.
That's what I'm trying to avoid, and you can't really test it at the Verizon
store, unless they have a way of cranking up a lot of background noise. Does
anyone here have any input as to which of the current crop of phones is
better than others? I don't care about games, color, downloading eighty
million stupid ring tones, web access, email, or any other bull****
features. Just a phone that sounds good.
