#1 | | Guest | So, where do you call if you've lost your cell phone? This must only
happen to ten thousand people every day, but I couldn't find the
number on the verizon wireless site.
I finally got the number, 800/922-0204, and waited eight minutes to
talk to an agent, ...
.... just about the time the phone was found.
But even so, sheesh!
(I admit, it wasn't really my phone, so I couldn't just pick up the
bill to see what number to call, but even so!)

If the lines weren't clogged with nuisance calls, the wait time would be a
lot less;-)

I'm still curious about the rest of the story...
He lost a cell phone and was trying to recover it.
But he didn't know the cell phone number because
it wasn't his?

I knew the cell number, I didn't know the Verizon number to call if
you lost the instrument, and could not find it on the web site, which
is an odd omission from the site design, easily remedied, if there's
no explanation for it.
And a little venting, and a little posting the number where it can be
googled, and a little chagrin that OF COURSE the phone was found after
the secret number was finally unveiled!
Thank you, ladies and germs.
