Rarely am I completely disappointed by a scam, and Palmone has managed to
have one. The following link doesn't hurt, but doesn't do any good either.
It is a scam for the possibility of winning a palmone FROM Palmone. It only
wanted you to register, HAH, no prize, no instant prize option either, just
a "oh, you've already registered" (thank you for your email... hah, what a
crock) dr.
Using my aol account, I was given an option to possibly (okay, odds of
winning are most likely small, but what can it hurt) win a prize from
Palmone. There is a reputable name.

I went to "register" for this instant prize, and it said I was already
registered. Okay. Thinking this odd, we created some "temporary" user
names on our private email system, and each time I tried these new accounts,
it captured the new email address and password, and THEN said I was already
registered, and to my SURPRISE, the logins worked.
So, perhaps I should have known better, but I am a palm and palmone
advocate, and this was so bogus. Sharing my disappointment that even the
normally reliable Palm, and Palmone brands stoop to scams to get people onto
their email list. I didn't believe it, but having tried it, what a crock.
A really disappointed person in palm and palmone, either allowing their name
to be included, or worse yet, "buying" these types of services. What a
crock...
