Roaming fees to New Zealand

I've just learned from Verizon that my CDMA phone is now usable in New
Zealand. The cost is 69 cents/minute plus New Zealand roaming fees.
Has anyone had experience on using their Verizon phone in New Zealand
and can you advise how much you were charged per minute for roaming?

Why not rent or buy a Satphone starting at $395.00 and up with calls from
anywhere to anywhere at $.99 per min or less. Look at it this way "If you
have to ask how much You can't afford it".
