Former Verizon Employees....

The cell company I work for is POSSIBLY going to be purchased by Verizon.
My girlfriend is a Customer Care Rep while I work in the retail store in a
town of around 32,000 people. Are there other former or current employees
who have been "swallowed up," for the lack of a better term, by Verizon and
if so, what have been the results? Did they keep the employees, make them
re-apply, or what happened?

I've also read some of the debate on this N/G and find it very enlightening.
It is true VERY few people do research on phones before walking into the
retail location...

The pretty girls are expected to engage in kinky sex with the Verizon
district managers and VPs in the back room of the stores. It usually
involves setting the phones to vibrate mode and-- well, you can figure out
the rest......

Are those calls billed by the minute, or, because she never actually
answers it, does it go as an unbilled unanswered call??....(c;

Vibrating cellphones.....No wonder the system's overloaded.
