Car Toys :(

Has anyone else here bought their verizon phone through car toys? If
so, did you get the ESP insurance for your phone? They sucked me into
the phone insurace scam about a year and a half ago, my phone, a
samsung a-670, broke last week. When i went in to use the ESP
insurance they tried to pawn me off and give me one of those cheap
phones.

The insurance they sold me at the time which they call ESP (extended
service policy) stated they would either replace my phone with the same
one or if they no longer carry the phone they would upgrade me to an
even better phone, and the replacement phone is suppose to be instant,
meaning they give you a new phone before you walk out the door.

So when my phone broke last week i drove out to car toys and they told
me they no longer carry the same phone, but they were totally willing
to DOWNGRADE my phone to a samsung a850 which isn't a bad phone, it
just isn't of equal quality considering it doesn't even have video
capture, which is most of the reason why i bought the a670. When i
refused to take the downgrade they told me they were not willing to
give me a phone of equal quality, but could order a replacement a670
that would take a WEEK to arrive. Is it just me or that a total scam.
I didn't pay the extra insurance for an immediate replacement to have
to wait a week to get a phone. Does anyone else have any experience in
dealing with these people, id really appreciate some ideas.

Re: Car Toys :(

There within there right to order it for you. If they did not or could not
get one then thats another ball game.
But ask them to loan you a phone till your replacement comes in and have
them order one for you.
