Changing Plans??

I've had Verizon's SingleRate plan for 5 plus years. I am not traveling
as much as I did before and was thinking of switching to America's
Choice to get the night minutes and IN calling program. (I have 2000
weekend per mo. promotion minutes on the SR plan)

This summer we are going to travel to the New England states.
I've checked the coverage maps and don't seem to think there will be a
big loss of coverage if I switch, but I am posting here to defer to the
opinions of you experts. Will I lose a lot of voice coverage by switching?

TIA,
Janet

I live in RI and travel to CT & Mass. There are some areas in Eastern CT
driving on Rt 6 where you roam or go to analog (in the sticks). I've had
AT&T TDMA, AT&T GSM and Cingular GSM. You'll be pretty satisfied with the
Verizon coverage most everywhere in Southern NE. I can't speak much about
VT, NH & ME as I haven't traveled there since I've been with Vzw. My
daughter lives in the Boston suburbs and is very happy with her Vzw
coverage.

You may want to consider a trade with someone you trust (IE they get the
single rate/you take the AC, and just change names and payment method).. Be
sure it is someone you trust.

I did that with my sister.. She had a super SR from work (with 8PM start),
and I got the regular AC (with 9pm start).. We traded...

Re: Changing Plans??

If you are going to call Canada, be carefull. I changed my plan in
September, and now I can't call canada unless I want to pay .20 a minute.
