Palm Treo 700w discounts

I am sure all of you in the group know that Verizon is currently selling
this phone for quite a premium ($549.99 with a 1-year contract and $499.00
with a two year contract).

I was able to save $200 by calling customer service and using my New Every
Two credit ($100) and combining the phone purchase with the Extra Choice
PDA/Smartphone Voice & Data Choice Bundle ($100). The plan provides 1350
minutes, Unlimited IN, Unlimited nights and weekends and Unlimited Data
Usage for $109.99 a month, which is a lot cheaper (and more minutes) than my
old AC plan with unlimited data.

When I told the CSR I couldn't combine the Treo, my New Every Two credit,
and the Extra Choice plan, she waived the $10.00 shipping charge.

There is a lot of things about Verizon that could be improved, but I am a
happy camper.

I don't understand. First you said you got $200 discount, but the later said
you couldn't combine the two $100 discounts so the rep just waived the $10
shipping charge. So that sounds like you got a $110 discount not a $200
discount.

I couldn't get the discounts combined online. The rep did it for me and
I ended up saving $210.

Ah, I see. I'll do that myself, if possible. My "New In Two" starts on
Tuesday.
