Hi all
My brother has a LG4500 that he's had since May of last year under Verizon's
new every two plan. About August it started draining battery power
quickly - from 4 bars to dead in about 24 hours with maybe one or two 5
minute calls on it. I took it to Verizon for him in Dec. when he told me
about it (he's on my family plan) and got the software updated and they said
he probably wasn't *228 every month. He did that and its still was going
dead. They replaced the phone in the middle of January and its still did
it. We got a new battery for it and it'll hold the charge for about a day
and a half now. I've turned off all the data functions, etc. Any ideas?
I'm thinking it might be the charger, but I'm not well versed in these
things.
For comparisons, my E815 will go a week in the same area without have to be
recharged and that's with fairly medium level usage.
I'd like to have this resolved by May so that if we have to replace the
phone, we can just swap it for something different under the NE2.
