Treo 700 messaging

I have a new Treo 700, which replaced a blackberry (still not sure that
was a good idea but oh well), and I can't figure out if it is possible
to "select all" messages/emails to delete them simultaneously. I get
hundreds a day and it is a nightmare. Does anyone know? Please feel

If you delete the emails from the email server on your desktop they are gone
from the Treo (unlike the Blackberry when using push-mail). The blackberry
and Treo are two devices with different audiences for sure ... so if you are
unsure on the Treo maybe it isn't what you need. I was never fascinated by
the Berry because it was a very limited unit and I wanted a more powerful
and capable device.

How to delete a message

1. To delete a message, in the message list, tap and hold the message.
To select multiple messages, tap and drag. Then, tap and hold the selected
messages. On the pop-up menu, tap Delete. Messages are moved to the Deleted
Items folder and deleted according to the option that you have selected in
Tools > Options > Storage tab..
Tip: If you are working offline, messages that have been deleted from
the server will be deleted from the device the next time you connect or
according to the options you have selected.



To permanently delete messages in the Deleted Items folder, tap Tools >
Empty Deleted Items.
