Revised Cust Agreement

Received a revised CA in the mail - with my bill.
Anyone read this thing, and really understand what it is all about?

Re: Revised Cust Agreement

Here is a link to the settlement agreement. Specifics on the new
customer agreement start on page 13:

Thanks, jk.

It's nice to know that VZW is being so nice and putting us customers first
by changing this. Not to mention the whole Moto 710 thingy. Thanks VZW.
Or... could it have been the two lawsuits? Naw.... they probably would have
taken care of us anyway.

Oh yeah, also, great work VZW on the recent relaxation of early termination
fees. I know that probably would have been done anyway without the lawsuit
too. LOL!

I always like how telephone companies still try to make the customer think
there are wires for miles and miles that must be paid for in heavy tolls to
use.

What bull****. It costs them just as much to call across the street as it
does to call Hawaii from Des Moines. It's just data....slow, compressed
data.

Oh, oh.....

"You agree that you won’t install, deploy, or use

(for example, a repeater) to originate, amplify,
enhance, retransmit or regenerate a transmitted RF
signal. WE CAN, WITHOUT NOTICE, LIMIT, SUSPEND,

If you put a repeater in your house to actually make your phones WORK, VZW
will cut you off if they find out about it....

So, get your non-VZW neighbor to put your repeater on the side of HIS
house...(c;

Thank You Very Much.

That was what I was looking for.

Wrong. Across the street is radio to radio, same tower.
And do you really think long distance is air all the way?
(I know you know this)

Care to tell us exactly what "free" media is used to transport
your long distance call?
(You might know this)

Care to tell us how that call from Des Moines to Hawaii is
routed?
(Probably no chance you have a clue here)

Give you a hint. It's the same media this message came from....

It's why Skype calls are free....

Clue yet?

Des Moines to Hawaii is routed just like my Skype calls are, through the
data network owned by the telephone companies.
