There are specific prohibitions about using the service for high
bandwith use such as streaming and servers.

It is one of my pet peeves about how marketers twist the language. And
they all do it. Unlimited means *unlimited*. If there are conditions
then it isn't unlimited because there are limits.

Very limitted is an exaggeration to say the least. Cite an example of
cancellation and you will note that the data downloaded on a monthly basis is
well over and above what would be considered normal by the average user. The
reports that I have seen are in the 40+GB range.

Or use common sense. It ought to be very obvious you are pushing the limits
when you download that porn DVD rip or turn up P2P over a cellular wireless connection.

10GB, not 10MB ... and I believe it is a soft limit, meaning you have to
either really blow it away or surpass it on a regular basis.

lawyers. unlimited obviously refers (to them, anyway) to access (as
opposed to X minutes/hours of connection time) and not to data
transfer. a distinction to be sure but one that should have been
better defined.

I would disagree because there lower service offers 20 or so MB per month
for 24.99. By this I would infer that the next step up that says Unlimited
for 44.99 per month would also refer to MB usage, rather than time. Its
false advertising IMHO.

Yeah I guess it only matter what "they" mean, not what we understand it to
mean. Anyways, the lower service only offers 20 or so MB (no typo) for
checking small emails and such. If they were to offer 20 or so GB then that
would be better than their 10GB max "unlimited" service

99% of the time when the word unlimited is used, the phrase "flat rate"
should be used instead...
