I'm not the OP, but as a point of reference ...
I live in Greenville SC and have callerID through Charter
Communications. My sister-in-law lives in Los Angeles and has a
Verizon cell phone. Her calls to us, and only her calls to us (so
far), show this "Unknown Caller" thing. Many cell users show names,
but I don't know enough to identify providers ... EXCEPT one with
Sprint does.
