Missed Call/Message Waiting Indicator

I have a Verizon Razr (I'm assuming V3m), which I upgraded from an
older Motorola. My old phone used to beep every 2-3 minutes when I had
a missed call or a message (text/voice) waiting, and I can't find the
option to do this on the menu - I tried the 'reminders' option in
detail, but nothing (unless I'm not waiting enough).

Anybody have any ideas?

You may want to look,via the call settings, for a "in-call setup" type
menu.Most handsets have a "msg alert" option that allows an on/off setup.
