RAZR V3 - can I download photos direct to my PC via USB ?

A friend has a RAZR V3. Can he download photos direct to his PC via USB
cable or is the only way to offload the photos is to send them via e-
mail from the phone ?

Steve

Is it really a V3 (GSM) model or a V3M (Verizon CDMA)? If it's a V3, it's
easy to do it with Bluetooth. If it's V3M, then Verizon has "enhanced" it so
that you can't use the Bluetooth for anything other than a headset. You can
still find a USB driver for it and use Bitpim to copy the photos. Sometimes
it can be difficult to establish a connection, but once you get it working,
it's OK.

No, not quite correct Nick.

With a bit of effort, all functionality can be restored to a V3M
Then, using MPT (Moto Phone Tools), or other programs, content
of any kind can EASILY be read from (or sent to) the phone via
USB or Bluetooth.

As I have said many times before....... HoFo is your friend.

In article <6qPph.262$3w7.82@newsfe12.lga>, yourname@yourdomain.com
says...

It is really a V3 model, I have VZW service. My friend with the RAZR is
in the Atlanta area using a different service provider.

Hummm... I don't know what the issue is.

I have successfully enabled multimedia studio using both
a V3C and V3m. With the V3c, it was a simple matter of
manually changing the phone in MPT. I think this is it below...

Did you edit any seems?

Did you go to Mark Venture's page?

Simple answer: Yes, using a USB cable and Motorola Phone Tools.
