Would you update from older plan (able to roam) to newer plan (no roaming)

I am currently on the older plan pre 2-05 with roaming capabilities.
Do you loose much with the new plan & no roaming ?

I suppose it depends. However, I've done it. I live in the West (Denver)
where this is much less coverage than in the East and I haven't noticed any
difference.
