Please help transfering phonebook to automobile's bluetooth phonebook

Hi all,

I know that Verizon cripples their phones and that perhaps is a gripe
for another newsgroup. That being said, I have a Motorola RAZR with
Verizon and a 2006 Lexus GX470 with bluetooth and the NAV Package. I
have been able to successfully pair and uthe phoen for telephone
conversations, but I cannot figure out if there is any work around to
transfer my phonebook from my cell phone to the automobile's
phonebook. ANy work around, etc. would be etremely apreciated. I would
even take the time to manually enter each phone contact into the auto
myself, one by one, but I don't believe it is possible to manually
enter contacts directly into the GX470's phonebook. PLease correct me
if I am wrong.
Thanks in Advance!!!
Regards,

Steve B.

You may need to search and read a bit, but I'd
bet the info you want is there.

Hint: Seem edit...

I have an 05 RX330. I could enter phone numbers into the phone book
but not names - which was not worth it. Spoke to the technical lead
at Lexus, he offered to transfer a 'few numbers' for me using a GSM
phone. I happened to have one (for overseas use) so I just
transferred my more frequently used numbers (about 25) of them.

I believe that newer Luxus models allow phone book transfers with
Verizon - the Lexus site has a list of compatible phones and services
and what each can do (including phone book transfer). I would start
with that.

Following the instructions here http://priuschat.com/Bluetooth-phone...top-t6017.html
worked for me between my V3C and a 2005 Toyota Prius.
