needs help with deciding phones or PDA

I"m looking into PDAs because i'm hearing impaired, and I've found that
texting isnt enough for some people. I'm going to have some people who
doesn't owe phone, needs to contact me on the go, and I've decided I would
upgrade to Samsung i670 and i was wondering if it's a good phone to have,
compared to blackberry series. I know many of you would just tell me to get
a simple phone without bells and whistles.. but in deaf world, we are alway
needing to be connect to the gateway, so we can communicate with other
people.. just like us communicating through telephone and cell phones.

I'm seriously considering Samsung i670 as PDA and LG Voyager 10000. Also
in the running is LG ENV.
