Net10wireless and Tracfone cellphones

I'm wondering if you can switch Tranfone's GSM phone (Nokia 1100) to the new
New10wireless service?

Net10wireless phone. As I understand the new Net10wireless service
everything is thru the Cingular Network and it does NOT roam onto other GSM
networks.
As far as I know all Tracfones will roam onto other networks if needed if
they share the same technology.
If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me.
