basic gsm phone with mono screen

I currently have a Z500a phone. I'm happy with the phone except for the
screen...if I'm outside in the sunlight it is totally washed out. I'm sure
that this is a problem with most color screens. Does anyone still make a phone
with a plain mono LCD screen? My old 5100 series Nokia had a screen like this,
and it worked fine in sunlight. I'm with Cingular, so I need an 850/1900
phone. I really don't care about camera, etc...just a screen that I can see
when outside.
