I have a Nokia 1100 (GSM) TracFone. Its looks like your TracFone is also a
Nokia, so the following procedure should help you set up your phone.

My Nokia 1100 uses the Cingular network. If your TracFone uses a different
network, your "Message center number" and "Email server" number will be
different (see below).

Make sure your SMS and Email Settings are set like the following (this
procedure is for Cingular network).

SMS Settings (click Menu or Navi Key, Messages, Message Settings, SMS
Settings):
--Message center number: +17045020600 (the "+" needs to be there)
--Messages sent as: "Text"

or

Email Settings (click Menu or Navi Key, Messages, Message Settings, Email
Settings):
--Message center number: +17045020600 ("+" is important)
--E-mail server: 36245
--Messages sent as: "E-mail"


Procedure To send a text message to another cellphone:
Menu(Navi Key)/Messages/Create message - (type in the message) - Press
Options(Navi Key), then Send - type in the number including area code, click
OK(Navi Key) - message is sent.

Procedure To send a text message to a computer using email address:
Menu(Navi Key)/Messages/Create message - (type in the message) - Press
Options(Navi Key), choose "Sending Options", next choose "Sending profile",
next choose "Email Settings", type in email address, click OK(Navi Key) -
message is sent.
