How can I track a cellular phone?

Does anyone know? Is there a Website that it can be done on?

Track in what way? Do you want to find its location?

In the US, I know of only one carrier that allows this, and that's Nextel.

Of course, there are limitations. The phone has to be turned on and not
in a call for the locator to work. IIRC, it also isn't very accurate if
the phone is inside of a building or otherwise has its GPS reception
blocked, but does work fine if the phone is in a car or outdoors. It's
also $15 a month extra ($20 if you want to throw in text messaging).

This conjures up images of stalking or trying to see if a spouse is
cheating. It would be frightening if any screwball out there could go a
website and track you at will.

I know a parent that was getting Nextel tracking enabled phones for
their kid on summer vacation.
The kid would be at the "other" parent's home for the summer and they
wanted to keep an eye on where he spent is time.
I might add the teenage boy had a way of getting into trouble and was
getting poor grades in school. The purpose was to try and keep a remote
view on his location, which might indicate some sign of problems and
lack of parental supervision.
Seems it would allow a verification of the question.."well son, what
did you do today?"
Poor kid never saw it coming...

I'm sure other parents have strong feelings about the ethics involved
with tracking a young teen clandestinly, but I can see any number of
reasons why a parent would consider such an action.
Gone are the days, for the most part, of living in a small town, where
everyone knew what kid belonged to whom and would keep an eye out and
report any misdeeds to the parent.
