It can be difficult depending on the model phone you have. First of all,
you'll need to get a data cable. If your phone has bluetooth you can
SOMETIMES use that to upload/download stuff, but its not a sure thing.
After you get the cable, you'll need to get the software for your phone.
Nokia has their PC Suite software free on their website. Motorola's you
have to pay for, unless it came with your data cable. Then you're phone
will show up as a drive in windows, and you can drag and drop ringtones,
pictures, etc... Sometimes the software comes with a conversion program to
make custom ringtones from MP3's and
Midi's (to reduce size, length, etc..)
If you're one of the REALLY lucky people that has a phone with a Transflash
or MiniSD card, then just throw the card in a card reader, and drag and drop
files over. Good luck.
