    My complaint:

VirginMobile uses FedEx to deliver new phone. Requires signature.

FedEx delivers at time when I am not at home. I call, tell them when I
WILL be at home. They try to deliver AGAIN when I am not at home...
    and on and on....

Call to Virgin. "Well... I can't help it that the company uses FedEx
    to ship its phones."

FedEx doesn't care. Virgin Mobile doesn't care.

I will return phone and go with another company (I have been using
    Tracfone).

Should I bother being a customer of a company that doesn't care?

    You misconstrue.

I will not use Virgin because their service is bad.

Their service is bad because they will do nothing about their poor
    shipping system.

    Get some courtesy.

If it's FedEX ground, then it's really hopeless, because they
essentially are a separate company when if comes to deliveries (the old
RPS). They will not hold a package for pick-up. For all other FedEx
delivery types, they will hold the package at the nearest office for
you, once they make a delivery attempt. If the shipper tells them it's
okay, they will even hold the package for you without making any
delivery attempts (the shipper must approve this because they don't want
fraudulent credit card users shipping packages to FedEx for pickup).

That is absolutely not the point.

When I call FedEx and TELL them that I will not be home until 3PM
(which they acknowledge)... I DON'T want them to try to deliver it at
1PM. It makes no sense. A waste of their time as well as mine.

every thought of leaving a note? all they need is your signture and
then the fedex person would leave the package or you could leave a note
    for them to deliver to
    a neighboor....

Why not buy one at Target, WalMart, K-Mart, etc.? VM's phones are
widely available at retail outlets, frequently below VM's web prices.

I'm sure that's what Admiral Spruance would do! ;-)

    Yes, it is.

Why don't you have it delivered to work?

NONE, I repeat NONE, of the package services can guarantee a time frame when
they'll be able to drop off the package. Nor will they.

its more the fault of F*CK UP than Virgin Mobile

I bought something from someone on ebay, my certified address is a P.O. Box,
because thats the addy my credit card matches

I gave shipper street addy, and he ships to PO Box anyway

I call F*CK UP, and gave then street addy, even told them it was on the main
business route through town, and it still took them 3 days tp deliver it 45
    miles from the texarkana warehouse.

    yeah, I KNOW

thats why I sent shipper street addy, also, which he ignored

and thats why when I was made aware of a problem, I called F*CK UP, and gave
them street addy, with detailed directions

still took them 3 days to get it to me from 45 miles away

what part of that don't you understand??

The part where you're pissed off at FedEx. You should be pissed off at
whoever shipped to the PO Box in the first place.
