The TM group was fought from its inception and people just gave up. That had
a largely negative impact on t-mobile discussion on USENET in my opinion.

If you want to succeed, you'll probably need to do a lot more than that, like
persuading major news services to carry it. That's what I did with
alt.cellular.cingular
BTW, it's rude to keep posting more limited follow-ups than the newsgroups
you're posting to. If you don't want the other newsgroups to be involved,
then don't post to them. [cross-posting restored, again]
