I've purchased the data kit for the KX13. Has anyone been able to get
to the internet using the data kit for your phone with Revol? Anyone
know the access number/username/password?
Thanks,

I used Revol the year they launched (back then, as Northcoast PCS). Do they
even *offer* data services on their network? They sure didn't then, or
anytime in the couple years following.

Re: Revol internet access for laptop
Actually I've been using the web on my phone since about November, then
get this - yesterday THAT stops working too. They are launching a new
web service with ringtone & game downloads etc but you must take your
phone in for a software upgrade. GRRRRR! I already had to take my
phone in once when Revol expanded to Youngstown, Columbus, Dayton,
Pittsburgh etc. for a PRL update. I've *****ed at them many times
about how all the other companies have OTA PRL updates and internet
access. They are ever so slowly updating, I don't know if I'll last
with them. I do love the unlimited minutes, the great coverage in
youngstown, the unlimited SMS and picture messages which also work with
Sprint PCS, Verizon, and Alltel.

The incompetence is to be expected. I don't know if they own Revol, but
Northcoast PCS was launched by the Dolan family. They own Cablevision, the
most incompetent American cable company in existence. I winced when Chuck
Dolan bought the Indians.
I left them because they had a network meltdown a year after they launched.
Can you imagine calls failing *in Cleveland*, on one of the freeways?!
Happened to me on I-90 between Cleveland and Lakewood.
