T-Mobile Porting HELL - Can anyone help me?

I ported my 303 area code phone number over from T-Mobile to Cricket
Communications about a year and a half ago. Every few months T-Mobile
gives out my phone number to a new customer of their's. For about a
week I get calls for someone else and people trying to reach me can't
make the connection. Then the customer complains and a new phone
number gets assigned. All is well for a couple of months and then
T-Mobile again gives out my phone number. It's now happened numerous
times.

I called tech support for both T-Mobile and Cricket. Each tech support
blames the other carrier and says they can not help me.

Would it help for me to file an FCC complaint against T-Mobile and
maybe even Cricket for this fiasco?

Have any of you out there had similar experiences?

Ron

I certainly would if I were in your place. I'd go in claiming that T-Mobile
had not implemented the required number portability processes, because
rather than giving the number to Cricket they keep reassigning it to other
people.

You should complain to anyone who might help.
But if possible, the path of least stress would be for you to ask for
a new number. It is likely you will get a new number that works and
all your problems are over.
