Way to reset phone?

Does anyone know how to for Samsung CDMA phones? I'm talking a full
reset, just short of rebuilding the EEPROM (or maybe even that if you
know how I would be able to get it back up and running). I don't care
about loss of data.

The reason is because I accidentally disabled the test mode that you
can enter by pressing 47*68#13580 for my Samsung sch-a630 phone, and
can't get back to it. Alsomy phone shuts down as soon as it powers on
for some reason.

Hardware (grounding/jumping certain pins, etc.) & software solutions
(back doors for example) are appreciated!

From the fact that you're posting to a Verizon newsgroup,
I assume Verizon's your carrier.

If it's a legitimate request, they should be able to help.

Re: Way to reset phone?

Yes, I went to them and they gave me a replacement phone for free.

However, I feel that utilizing their help is always a last resort.
Being a programmer & information seeker by heart, it's much more
exciting and academically fulfilling to learn. Granted, there are times
when you "screw up", but it's all part of the learning process.

That's why if there's some work or service I need (whether it be for
electronics, my car, etc..) I always attempt to learn & educate myself
on what I need to do, and if it is out of my league, go to the
professionals.

After all, they're a business and it's their goal to make money
(otherwise they wouldn't be in the business). Me, I'm just trying to
learn.

I appreciate your reply, however I was not expecting that answer, as I
figured that sort of advice was understood as an available option.
