    Hi Sir/Madam,

This is Earnest from Bangalore, India. I purchased a Sony-Ericsson
Z300i handset around 5 months ago. Just a week ago the handset started
    showing problems.

While charging, though the display outside was being shown as charging,
the handset infact was not getting charged. We took the handset to the
    local service centre for

Sony-Ericsson - M/s Salora international and they observed the phone
for 4 days now. They are claiming that they have replaced the mother
board and the battery and that

the phone is working fine. But, not the display outside. I am
completely disappointed by this feedback from M/s Salora. What's the
point in having a so-called "fully charged"

handset with a faulty charge-display? How on earth can we get an idea
about the charge level of the handset after a few hours? Is this the
service that a customer gets from

a service cetre of yours? For your information, I am without a handset
since the past 7 days. I appreciate a prompt reply from your end.

    Thanks,
    Earnest.

By the display outside, I meant that the number of "charge-bars" shown
on the screen. In my case, it is always showing only half of the number

of bars even after long hours of charging. And this is the case even
after M/s Salora looked into it.
